The Kerr County Celtic Festival

Scottish Highland Games and Highland Dance Competition

Sponsored in part by John and Eleanor Masin members of Clan Scott

Alamo City Pipes And Drums was founded in July of 2015. The original members came to the band from four other pipe bands and brought with them a wealth of experience and knowledge. The band strives to provide the highest quality entertainment to its audience as well as a fun yet challenging environment for its members. The band currently competes in Grad 4 and many of its members participate in solo competition as well. The band is always looking to recruit talented pipers and drummers or those interested in becoming pipers or drummers.

The San Antonio Pipes and Drums formed in 1986 and celebrates 30 years of playing traditional bagpipe band music for the enjoyment of both musicians and audiences.  Notice the kilts in a variety of Scottish and Irish tartans.  Band members range from teenagers to great-grandparents and play in parades, special events, festivals, and celebrations.  The SAPD is a popular attraction each June at the Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio.
